Dr. Weihua Han is an Associate Professor in the School of Physical Science & Tech at Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. He received his B.S. degree in Microelectronics and PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics from Lanzhou University in 2003 and 2008, respectively. Since July 2008, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Electronic Materials and Engineering at Lanzhou University. He has visited University of Minho (Portugal) as an Erasmus Mundus Postdoctoral Researcher from October 2010 to April 2011 (6 months), Georgia Tech (USA) as a visiting Scholar from May 2011 to April 2012 (12 months) and University of Tor Vergata (Italy) as postdoctoral researcher from February 2013 to November 2013 (9 months). His research interests include: synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials; investigation on mechanical and electrical properties of nanowire devices; energy harvesting and storage devices, nanosensors and actuators.
